Community Program
Day Services with Community Connection.
Our Community Program is a Day Service that runs on Tuesdays out of the Iroquois Park Sports Centre and Thursdays out of Lake Vista Community Centre that aims to provide a link between individuals with disabilities and their community.

Hours of Operation 9am-4pm

Our Community Program includes structured programs and planned community outings that encourage the use of public transportation and develop skills around navigating the community safely while having fun.

Connection and Friendship
The Sunrise Day Program has a lengthy waitlist with continued interest and requests for service.
Our agency has developed this supplementary program to support the individuals seeking Day Services and bridge a gap between our members and our community.

Our first pilot period ran from September 2023 - May 2024 and supported eight individuals on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Thank you to the Town of Whitby for their donation of a homebase for our Tuesday group. Without this support we could not offer the services that we do!
